One of America's greatest modern writers died yesterday from complications of a fall. In this video he talks about his novel Cat's Cradle and how it was inspired by the indifference of american scientists.
"I am embarrassed. We are all embarrassed. We Americans have guided our destinies so clumsily, with all the world watching, that we must now protect ourselves against our own government and our own industries."

I need to blog...
